We suggest you bring two rods with you for these trips, chest waders, felt soled boots, and rain gear just in case.

A 4 to 5 weight is great for some nymph and all dry fly fishing and a 6-7 weight is excellent for nymph and streamers. If you are limited to just one rod, then I highly suggest a 6 weight. Floating line is a must and a sinking tip weight forward is nice for streamer fishing. Waders are recommended and a felt soled boot to stop slippage.

Personal gear to include clothing for sun and rain, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and your camera with lots of film. Your flies and tippet are supplied, but by all means you're welcome to bring some of your own favourite trout flies.
